ALEEF WORKS (UEN 53529067E) is committed to handling personal data responsibly and in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have.
1. What we collect
From clients and enquirers
- Name, job title and organisation
- Email address and telephone number
- Event details: date, venue, guest numbers, requirements and budget
- Billing details and payment records
- Correspondence between us
From event participants
Where an activation includes a leaderboard, bracket or timing system, we collect the display name each participant chooses and their lap or match results. Participants are free to use a nickname. We do not require identity documents, addresses or contact details from participants.
2. Why we collect it
- To prepare quotations and respond to enquiries
- To plan, deliver and support your event
- To issue invoices and process payment
- To operate tournament scoring, standings and results during an activation
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without consent.
3. Who we share it with
We disclose personal data only where necessary, to:

Payment card details are entered directly with our payment providers and are never collected, seen or stored by us.
4. Transfers outside Singapore
Some service providers, including payment processors, may process data outside Singapore. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not proceed: up to 12 months.
- Client and transaction records: at least 5 years, as required for tax and accounting purposes in Singapore.
- Participant display names and results: deleted within 30 days of the event, unless you ask us to retain results for a series.
- Client-supplied guest lists: deleted within 30 days of the event.
6. Security
We apply reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure or loss, including access-controlled devices and accounts, encrypted transmission where available, and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights under the PDPA
You may at any time:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you and how it has been used or disclosed in the past year.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Withdraw consent to our continued use of your data. We will tell you the likely consequences. In most cases we would no longer be able to provide services to you.
Requests should be sent to our Data Protection Officer at the address below. We respond within 30 days. A reasonable fee may apply to access requests, and we will tell you before proceeding.
8. Cookies and this website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or third-party tracking. No account is required and nothing is stored on your device by us.
